AdOff (available at adoff.app) is a Chrome browser extension that blocks advertisements and prevents anti-adblock detection. We are committed to your privacy and operate a zero-data-collection policy.

AdOff requires permission to access web pages you visit in order to:

AdOff stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the "Export settings" feature.

If you activate a Pro license, AdOff sends a validation request to our API server (api.adoff.app, hosted on Cloudflare Workers) to verify your license. This request contains:
License validation occurs once when you activate your license and periodically every 7 days thereafter to confirm the license remains valid. No browsing data, personal information, or identifiers beyond those listed above are sent.
Payments for Pro licenses are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card details or payment information on our servers. When you purchase, you interact directly with Stripe's secure payment flow.

The only cookies that may be set are those placed by Cloudflare for network security and DDoS protection purposes. These are strictly functional and do not track personal browsing behavior.
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user data to third parties — ever. There is no data to share beyond what is described in §4 (license validation), and that data is processed solely to verify license validity.
AdOff does not participate in any Acceptable Ads program or similar commercial arrangements that would compromise ad blocking integrity.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold (specifically, license-related data described in §4):

License-related data (license key, device fingerprint hash, activation records) is retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 30 days after expiry or cancellation, after which it is permanently deleted.
Local data stored by the extension on your device persists until you uninstall the extension or manually clear it.
AdOff is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
The extension runs entirely within your browser with no backend data collection. API communications for license validation are transmitted over HTTPS and processed by Cloudflare Workers with no persistent logging of personal data.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active Pro users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of AdOff after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
